Q. How can I be a delegate? |
A.
You must:
1. Accomplish and submit
the Application Forms* on time ;
2. Qualify based on the criteria set; and
3. Pay the Conference Fee on time.

Q. To whom and when should I
submit the Forms*?
|
|
A.
To the local Aksyon Coordinator on or before October 1, 2000. Otherwise it
should be faxed to the Office (634-3072/3073) on or before October 2, 2000.
Late applications will
not be accepted.

Q. What are the criteria?
|
A. You
must :
1. Be 15-26 years of age;
2. Be an Aksyon member in good standing or is strongly
recommended by any Aksyon Coordinator;
3. Have held an elective position in a youth organization;and
4. Have directly organized an activity.

| Q. Why is
there a need to set criteria? |
A.
Reasons:
1. A quota of 180
delegates, with a minimum of 5 representatives per locality, is set for
accommodation;
2. The program, to be realized, is set only for those with specific
skills and experience, specially in organizing activities.
3. In the field of Training and Development, no specific training
program (like that of the 2nd Conference) can apply to all kinds of
persons. Otherwise the objectives will not be realized.

| Q. How much
is the Conference Fee? |
A. Only P
2,000.00. This includes:
1.Round trip fare from
your province to the Conference Venue in the Queen City of the South-Cebu
City.
2. Hotel accommodation and Food from 12 Noon of October 27 (Friday) to
12 Noon of October 29 (Monday).

and when should I pay? |
| A. Pay to
the Aksyon Coordinator or directly* to Aksyon Kabataan. Payment
must be received on or before October 5, 2000.
Late payments will
not be accepted.

| Q. Why Cebu? |
A.
Reasons:
1. We want to hold the
Aksyon Kabataan Conferences around the country;
2. After Baguio in Luzon, Cebu is the best location in the Visayas
considering that the Aksyon Kabataan in Cebu is well organized.
